Customers Fault Description : Not working at all. Changed batteries so it's not that issue.
This fireplace control arrived safely and on testing the buttons were intermittent.
On opening there was a mass of contamination over the PCB and button array (see image), this was cleaned up and the print reworked which restored stable functionality.
